Ada Crowl

I was born and raised in Skagit County and feel truly blessed to live in such a beautiful area. I have worked in the agriculture industry for 5 years and currently work at Osborne Seed Company doing PR and product development in Mount Vernon. At Osborne I am part of a team that sells varieties of flower and vegetable seeds that work well with our region. We find seeds from all over the world, trial and observe them to see what works best in certain conditions. I get to work with growers all over the United States helping them find quality seed that fits their growing practices.

I enjoy being physically active and am certified as a YogaFit Yoga instructor, Reebok Cycling Instructor and Zumba instructor. I teach classes at Skagit Valley Family YMCA. I am also a League of American Bicyclist Certified Bicycle Educator and teach bicycle education classes in the community, helping people learn to bike safety. I participate annually in the MS 150 Ride here in Skagit Valley. I helped raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis in 2009 and 2010 and hope to do it again in 2011.

My favorite activities include hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and spending time with my family and friends.
